In consequence of the interchange of the two Infantry Battalions between Hongkong and the Straits Settlements which was effected by portions of each Battalion at a time in the months of February and March last, the average of the 2nd Battalion "The Buffs" East Kent Regiment is calculated for 10 months and that of the 1st Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers for 2 months only.
