*In cousequence of the interchange of the two Infantry Battalions between Hongkong and the Straits Settlements which was affected by portions of each Battalion at a time in the months of February and March last, the average of the 2nd Battalion "The Buffs” East Kent Rogiment is calculated for 10 mouths and that of the 1st Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers for 2 months only,
