Plans and Estimates were prepared for a Central Police Station which has not yet received sanction, as well as a small Police Station for the junction of Wellington Street with the Queen's Road.

The question of encroachments on crown property by the Marine Lot holders was taken into consideration by His Excellency and in accordance with his directions I prepared Plans showing the limits of the Lots as originally sold, the encroachments made, and a line of proposed extreme limit for such extensions, terminating it by a road 415 feet in width.

Tables were also prepared showing the rentals paid, and a certain rate for a proposed additional rentcharge should it be necessary, as well as an approximate estimate of the amount required to complete the whole work should the Government be prepared to undertake the service.

There cannot be a doubt that such a work if properly carried out would be of great advantage to the inhabitants generally, would form a magnificent promenade, and add immensely to the beauty of the city.

In connection with such a Service at the Lower Bazaar and up to West Point I submitted plans for the removal of Possession Point Hill, the earth will all be required by the reclamation of the ground.
