On former occasions, the local and to popaphical causes of disease have been sufficiently considered; and the remedies, to far as they are within Lanatory control, carefully auch carnestly indicated. It will be muneccesary on the present reasion, therefore, to speculate on the cances of cliccace, or to ventine any hypothee is the readieet mode of averting it ; it will be sufficient to state, briefly, the facts unrelation to sickness and mortality which have occurred churing.
