I have the honor to submit

the following Report upon the progress of this Department during

the year ending 31st Decr. last:

The duties undertaken by a portion of the Department, viz by myself, the late Clerk of Works assisted by foremen, have consisted in superintendence of sundry construction, and repairs of Roads and Bridges, both in Victoria and its neighbourhood, the expenditure upon which amounted to £2253. 10. 1.
