I have the honor to submit the annual Report upon the works that have been executed during the Year last past, as also upon the general state of repair of all Civil Roads and Works in the Island.
Roads and Bridges - A Queen's Road extending from the North Barracks to the hap, or formerly known as the Eastern District, was not completed during the year as authorized under Report and Estimate Act of 1845-6 as far as regards the construction of the Bridge at the Nullah, North Barracks; this work it was exceedingly difficult to perform, the foundations being much worse than imagined could be the case, and in consequence an artificial one for the whole...
