On the 19th November, the Office of Auditor General was annexed to that of Colonial berctury, and this Officer, was consequently relieved of his duty, which devolved by appointment on Major Caine. Mr=" Shelley however was permitted to receive his Palary up to the 31st. December. Duty of black of bouncits performed by Chief black in Colonial Office.
