There being no bustom house Hongkong, and the Chinese Fraders being jealous of affording full information as to their dealings with the Colony, this Return is under the circumstances, as nearly correct as possibles

It may be as well to state that besides the above Sunks, there monthly from the villages on the opposite coast, more

than sixty Boats (varying from 6 to 8 Tons each) loaded with Provisions for the Colony.
