There being no custom house at Hongkong, and the Chinese traders being jealous of affording full information as to their dealings with the Colony, this Return is under the circumstances, as correct as possible.
It may be as well to state that besides the above Junks, there arrive monthly from the villages on the opposite coast, nearly 106 boats (varying from 6 to 8 Tons each) loaded with Provisions for the Colony.
