67. Dredging Foreshores:-The working cost and capacity of the two Government Grab Dredgers during the year were as follows:

Excluding the dredging carried out by the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock Co., a total of 83,637.46 cube yards of silt was removed during the year, 82,529.21 cube yards of which were dredged from the foreshores and in maintaining depth of water within the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter, alongside Public Piers and Refuse Boat Piers; whilst 1,108.25 cube yards were dredged on behalf of the Admiralty.
