Landslides occurred on both the North and South conduits which interrupted the supply from Shing Mun. They were cleared as soon as possible and cuttings were trimmed to prevent further slides. Minor damage was caused at the Shek Li Pui East Catchwater, while at the Beacon Hill Catchwater a landslide caused a section of concrete wall to collapse which completely blocked the catchwater. The debris was cleared and the wall rebuilt.
