11. Ellis Kadoorie School.-Headmaster, Mr. E. J. Edwards. Maximum enrolment was 376. Average attendance was 338 (340 last year).
12. The results of the annual examination were very satisfactory. 80% of the boys who took the Class 4 examination passed and 90% of the boys from classes 5 to 8 were successful in gaining promotion.
13. The School Chinese Library has received a gift of 14 volumes from the Commercial Press Ltd.
14. Football has been reintroduced and Inter-School matches are being played. Deck Tennis, Volley Ball and Ping Pong have been played.
15. Yaumati School.-Headmaster, Mr. C. Mycock. Maximum enrolment was 278. Average attendance was 258 – an increase of four.
16. The examination results were good. In the external examination for class 4, out of 48 boys examined 41 passed obtaining 7 Government Scholarships.
17. Physical instruction, under an army Instructor, has been introduced and already an improvement in fitness and carriage is noticeable.
18. Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Football and Ping Pong have been played regularly throughout the year.
19. Each classroom has its own library, the books having been re-classified according to the requirements and attainments of individual classes.
20. Wantsai School.-Headmaster, Mr. G. W. Reeve, B.A. The maximum enrolment was 209. The average attendance was 203 (200 last year).
21. In the annual examination in class 4, 64% of the boys passed obtaining 7 Government Scholarships and 1 Woo Hay Tong Scholarship. In classes 5 to 8, 84% were successful.
22. A Junior Team was entered for the Hong Kong Schools Basket Ball League.
23. Football, Volley-ball and Basket-ball have been played during the year.
