CROWN LANDS.

4. Land Sales, Extensions, Grants, etc.-The total amount of premia paid into the Treasury during the year was $587,505.40 of which $24,556.55 was derived from fees for survey and boundary stones. The estimates for the year were $1,200,000.00 for Premia on new leases and $20,000.00 for Boundary Stones and Survey Fees. Table A gives a comparative statement and Table B gives a graph of the revenue derived from Land Sales, etc., for the years 1925-1934.

5. Sales without auction.-These are included in Table A at the end of this Report. The principal one involved the sale of an area of 5,232 square feet to the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Trust Association from which $52,320.00 as premium was derived.

6. Extensions.-Areas of 14,350 square feet and 75,400 square feet were granted to the Hong Kong Electric Company as extensions to Marine Lots Nos. 430 Section A (now known as Marine Lot No. 526) and 321 respectively, for which $179,500.00 as premium was paid.

7. Exchanges. These are also included in Table A.

8. Grants on nominal terms.-Grants of areas were made to The Trustees of the Church of England in the Diocese of Victoria, Hong Kong, The Young Men's Christian Association of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Chinese Civil Servants Club.
