10. The total amount of Guinea Grass cut on the cultivated hillside at Kennedy Town was 1,017 piculs.
QUARANTINE.
11. The numbers of animals examined and passed through quarantine during the year were as follows: —
Horses Cattle Dogs 200 206 17312. The above does not include animals imported for slaughter or consigned to the Military Authorities.
13. Imported horses and mules unless accompanied by a satisfactory Mallein Certificate are detained until they have passed the Mallein Test.

14. Other animals are quarantined for varying periods according to their place of origin.

16. Rabies :
During the year 389 dogs, 6 monkeys and 3 cats were placed under observation on account of being suspected of being rabid. They were disposed of as follows:-
