CHINESE DELIVERY SECTION.
10. During the year this section handled 7,472,549 ordinary letters, 412,033 other articles and 10,861 postal Hong packets as against 7,963,344 ordinary letters, 432,188 other articles and 11,001 postal Hong packets in 1932.
11. The registered articles delivered amounted to 133,173 of which 46,530 were from the United States and Canada, and 86,643 from China and other countries showing a decrease of 36,792 as compared with 169,965 in 1932.
12. 5,671 insured letters were dealt with as against 6,065 in 1932. The total number of Chinese private boxes was 357, an increase of 21 as compared with 336 in 1932.
13. The licences of 27 Chinese Postal Hongs were renewed, the same number as in 1932. 4 of these licences were, however, cancelled during this year.
(B).—WIRELESS.
TRAFFIC.
14. The total paid traffic for the year was 403,816 messages of 3,321,236 words representing increases of 25,027 messages and 16,468 words as compared with the figures for 1932.
15. The total unpaid traffic for the year was 44,720 messages of 1,125,143 words representing increases of 472 messages and 49,396 words as compared with the figures for 1932.
16. The total increase amounts to 25,499 messages, 65,864 words or 5.68% and 1.48% respectively.

SERVICES.
Commercial Radio Telegraph Services are now in operation as follows:-
(1) Macao.
(2) British North Borneo, direct to Sandakan and thence to all offices.
(3) Dutch East Indies, direct to Malabar thence to all offices and to Dutch Borneo, Australasia and Europe.
(4) French Indo China, direct to Hanoi, Saigon and Kwongchowan and with connections to all inland places.
(5) Formosa, direct to Taihoku and thence to all offices,
