86. Water Meters.-There were 27 meters in use at the close of the year compared with twenty-six in 1932. The number of meters examined and repaired during the year was 35.

Minor repairs were effected to the following works:-Kowloon City and Shamshuipo Piers, and Water Boat Dock at Laichikok. 10 reinforced concrete piles were manufactured for the strengthening of Kowloon City Ferry Pier.
