REVIEW OF YEAR.
STAFF.
25. During the year one European Mistress and one European Physical Instruction Mistress resigned. These were replaced by mistresses recruited in England.
26. Four University Trained Teachers were appointed in place of the four who resigned in 1931.
27. Two University Trained Teachers resigned and were replaced.
28. There were seventeen Students in Training at the University of Hong Kong. Of the four who graduated in December, three were appointed University Trained Teachers,
29. Vernacular Masters were appointed in place of one Vernacular Master who died, one who retired and one who resigned.
30. One Anglo-Chinese Mistress and one Vernacular Mistress resigned. They were not replaced.
31. Mr. G. White, the Principal of the Junior Technical School which will open in February 1933, arrived from home on December 15th.
32. Two University Trained Teachers were appointed to the staff of the Junior Technical School.
BOARD OF EDUCATION.
33. The Board of Education met six times during the year. Sir William Hornell, Hon. Dr. S. W. Tso, Mr. H. B. L. Dowbiggin, Rev. A. D. Stewart, Rev. F. Short and Mr. H. K. Woo, whose terms of office had expired, were appointed for a further period of two years. Capt. P. S. Cannon, Army Educational Corps, was appointed a member of the Board.
