8. General:-

(1) The number of plans (in quad.) for attachment to leases and title deeds, necessitating separate surveys being made, was 771 during the year 1929.

(2) With reference to paragraph 3 in the 1928 report- it is now understood that the 1:800 and the 1:30,800 maps mentioned therein will not be published but that instead it has been decided to publish a 1:1300 covering Kowloon and Victoria and ... to cover the same area as the 1:100,000
