Cattle: The total number of cattle admitted to Depots during 1929 was 60,593 against 60,518 in 1928. In Ma Tau Kok 10,761 were admitted against 11,579 in 1928. The above are the only abattoirs at which cattle are slaughtered in the Colony.

Pigs:-The total number of pigs admitted to Kennedy Town was 291,068 against 323,647 in 1928. This includes 14,082 admitted to Kennedy Town and afterwards exported. The total number admitted at Ma Tau Kok was 111,978.

Sheep and Goats: -23,725 was the total number admitted at Kennedy Town against 45,225 in 1928. As in the case of pigs this includes 11,732 admitted to Kennedy Town and after- wards exported.
