233. Erection of three Conveniences at Shamshuipo.—This work was referred to in paragraph 189 of the Report for last year.
The two Trough Closets were completed by March of this year and together with the temporary conveniences were handed over to the Sanitary Department.

A large one was built near the Shum Chun River at Lo Wu halt. At Sha Tau Kok Police Station, a hut and two small pill-boxes were built and a large one was constructed at the terminus of the road at Shataukok.
The work which was let to Mr. Yeung Tham for the sum of $11,953.62 was completed by about the middle of August and the buildings handed over to the M.A. on the 28th of the same month:
