177. Surfacing etc. roads Kowloon Tong Development area. -This work was referred to in paragraph 156 of last year's Report.
The majority of the roads in both the South and North Sections were cut down and formed to correct levels and cambers by the end of the year.
The work of kerbing, channelling, laying macadam to carriageways, tar-painted and granolithic paving to footways and scavenging lanes was continued.
