The undermentioned roads were macadamized, kerbed, channelled and laid to approved levels, the footpaths being paved with granolithic and slab paving and the necessary improvements made in front of the new buildings erected during the year:-
Apliu Street, Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kweilin Street, Nan Chang Street, Nga Tsin Wai Road, Om Yau Street, Po Kong Road, Prince Edward Road, Sa Po Road, Shak Kee Lung Road, Ta Ku Ling Road, Tai Nan Street, Taipo Road, Tin Lui Street, Un Chau Street, Wong Chuk Street, Yen Chow Street, Yu Chow Street.

165. Training Nullahs.-The cutting of trenches to prevent the formation of mosquito breeding pools was carried on during the year.
Channels were laid to deal with storm water from hillside east of N.K.I.L. 421, Cheung Sha Wan and nullah training was carried out north of K.I.L. 1959 (Boundary Street) between Kowloon Tong and Kowloon City.
