(a.) Mong Kok Tsui Nullah, East. This work was referred to in paragraphs 178 (a.) of the Report for 1925 and 139 (a.) of that for last year.
This item formed part of Contract No. 24 of 1922. As already mentioned in a previous paragraph, the Contractors, Messrs. Li Hing & Bros., were involved in litigation over this Contract, and the decision come to in that case applied equally to this work.
A further length of decking under the No. 8 Railway Bridge was laid by the end of the year.

The section that was considered necessary to meet the present requirements was completed during the year.

(c.) Training Stream Course in the New Cemetery Area, Ho Mun Tin.—A Contract was let and a commencement made with this work after the rainy season. Although good progress was made it was not found possible to complete it within the year.
