10. New Territories.-The following were the most important surveys:-

11. Military Survey.-A good deal of assistance and information has been supplied to the officer in charge of the Military Survey during the year. Additional triangulation stations were fixed and observations made. A number of temporary stations erected by him were permanently fixed and others still remain to be done. Various maps of Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories were supplied and a complete set of sheets (about 600) of the Cadastral Survey of New Territories were handed to him in connection with the correction of names of villages, &c.
