193. Proposed Improvements to Kowloon Point.-Sketch plans were prepared with a view to improving the lay-out and providing better facilities for the regulation of traffic.
194. Nathan & Gascoigne Roads,—Improvement to the junction by the removal of portion of the hill.-This work, referred to in paragraph 244 of last year's Report was completed during the year.

195. Surfacing Road to Kowloon Hospital.-A 20 ft. strip of that portion of Waterloo Road and Argyle Street lying between the Railway and the Hospital was metalled and tar painted during the year in order to give vehicular access to the Hospital.

196. Installation of Kilowatt Wireless Set.-A contract was let to Messrs. Tat Lee & Co. for a sum of $5,010.70 on 8th June, 1926.
The building which was erected in the grounds of the Royal Observatory, Kowloon, was of pointed brickwork with double pan and roll roof and contained a motor room, a switch board and operating room together with lavatory accommodation for the operators.
The work was satisfactorily completed by the end of November.

197. Submarine Cable between Tai Kok Tsui and Stone-cutters' Island. The cable was laid on September 15th. It replaces the former cable which was in very poor condition and finally broke down during the typhoon of September 27th.
