The following roads within the Shamshuipo and Cheung Sha Wan Districts, in front of new buildings, were kerbed, channelled, surfaced with ordinary macadam and tar painted, the footpaths being paved with granolithic slabs and necessary improvements made:

(a.) Side-wall and Invert of Nullah East side of Kaulung-tong Development Scheme. This work was referred to in paragraph 212 (a) of last year's Report.
Very good progress was maintained. A good length of parapet walling was completed, and a length of 808 lin. feet of decking was laid.
