230. Gough Hill Police Station,-Extension to Kitchen Block and erection of new Barrack Shed.—The work comprised site formation and erection of Barrack Shed (weather boarded structure 52 feet by 17 feet 6 inches, with timber roof covered with Malthoid) containing a Mess Room and Dormitory for twenty-four men.
Extension to existing Servants and Kitchen Block provide additional kitchen and latrine accommodation. Small alterations to the Charge Room and surfacing of the yards, etc., were effected, and cupboards, tables, etc., supplied.

233. Premises rented as Quarters for the Police.-Two tenement houses of four flats each, one in Wongneichong Road, and the other at Prava East near Percival Street, were rented to serve as quarters for European and native Police and accordingly fitted up for the purpose.

234. Reinforced Concrete Cable Tank at Kennedy Town.-This tank, 18 feet in diameter and 4 feet 6 inches deep, was constructed on the foreshores at Kennedy Town for the storage of submarine cables. It was satisfactorily completed at a cost of $1,383.76.
235. Widening Garden Road below the Peak Tramway Station. This work was completed during the year.
