(b). Matshed for the Caretaker at the Taikoktsui Market. This was provided for his use, with a small kitchen attached. The cost was $210.
(c). Urinal and surfacing to the area near the Shanghai Street Market. This convenience is adjacent to the Market and was constructed of brick with a concrete roof. The surfaced area is intended for the use of cooked-food hawkers. The cost amounted to $1,609.51.

(d). Additions and alterations to the Mongkoktsui Market. These comprised improvements to roof and drainage, re-numbering of the stalls, and the provision of 22 flat iron bar hangers for the use of stall-holders.
(e). Extension to the Pig Lairage near the Yaumati Railway Station. This is the second extension that was made, the first one being carried out in 1924.
(f). Children's Playground at Chatham Road.—A portion of the concrete fence was removed and refixed and an extension made to increase its area.
(g). Yaumati Police Station.—An extension was made to the Arias Grille in the Charge Room.
As no provision was made for those works, a supplementary vote had to be taken to cover the expenditure involved.

Compensation & Resumptions.—This vote provided for the resumption of properties required for street widening and improvement schemes, and in connection with the development of the district in accordance with the approved Town Planning Scheme.
