224. Reconstruction of Recreation Grounds at Happy Valley. New turf was laid to those portions of the Civil Service Club ground damaged by the debris washed down from the adjoining hillside during the storms of the previous year.

228. Shaukiwan Road widening near the Eastern Gate of the Taikoo Dock. It was considered necessary to widen the road to 80 feet at a dangerous bend near the Eastern Gate of the Taikoo Dock, and the work was well in hand at the end of the year.
