22. Belilios Reformatory.—New Roof and General Repairs to the Fabric including painting and colourwashing.—The entire roofing to the Main Block was renewed. All valleys and gutters were done in malthoid, and the old ceilings removed. This necessitated the main walls of the buildings, originally built to the level of the eaves, to be carried up to the underside of the roof tiling.
General repairs, which were extensively needed, were carried out as far as possible before the end of the year. The whole of the necessary work in this respect will not be completed till the end of April, 1925, owing to the advanced state of dilapidation.

Government Civil Hospital, “B” Block,—Extension and Improvements to Kitchen Block.—This work comprised the construction of an extra storey on top of the present one-storey building to provide accommodation for 7 amahs, with splints and linen rooms in addition to bath, kitchen, and Water Closet.
Rooms on the ground floor now in the occupation of amahs, would be vacated for extensions and improvements to the kitchen.
