A contract for this work was let to Messrs. Tak Hing & Co. in July.
(a). is a brick building containing 2 Living Rooms, 2 bedrooms with bath-rooms together with the usual offices and servants' Quarters.
(b). is a long building divided into 3 compartments being constructed of brick walling and reinforced concrete roof.
(c). The renovation of old quarters was completed at the close of the year, while (a) and (b) were well advanced.

152. Cape D'Aguilar.—During the year, two new lattice steel masts were erected at Cape D'Aguilar Wireless Telegraph Station to replace those blown down in the Typhoon of 1923.
A new receiving gear was also installed there.
A continuous service was maintained, and a marked increase in the number of messages handled is evidenced from the following figures

154. Wireless Telegraph School.-A School for training Wireless Telegraph Operators was inaugurated during the year, and about 20 students were enrolled, 75% of whom have turned out successful.
155. General Post Office, Radio Room.-A small K. W. emergency set has been installed, and the Radio Room enlarged. Facilities for the reception of telegrams during the night were provided.
156. New Works.-During the year, the undermentioned schemes were approved and plans and specifications prepared :-
(1). Installation of a 6 K. W. Valve Transmitter at Cape D'Aguilar.
