(1.) Road contouring the hillside above Conduit Road, 1st and 2nd Sections.---This work referred to in paragraph 120 (1.) of last year's Report was practically completed at the end of the year.

(m.) Tai Hang Development,-Road Construction. This work was referred to in paragraph 120 (n.) of last year's Report.
The work under the contract let to Messrs. Sang Lee & Co. for a 25-foot road, and 365 feet of nullahs in August, 1923, was fairly well advanced at the close of the year, with the exception of the lower section. The progress on the whole was satisfactory, considering the shortage of filling material.
At the end of the year, negotiations for the resumption of certain Inland Lots at Tai Hang Village affecting the alignment of the lower section were pending.

A total sum of $5,393.44 was spent on the resumptions as shown on page 46.
