Kaulungtong Development Scheme, -Resumptions. Northern District. Resumptions for sundry purposes debited to Vote P.W.E. 135,-Compensation and Resumptions. 295 lots were resumed. Many of these resumptions were on the basis of exchanges which are given in schedule on pages 22 to 29 the remainder consisting mainly of agricultural lots being resumed outright. $112,761.23 The total amount of the payments approved for these resumptions was $112,761.23; this covered compensation for structures on the old lots and for deficit area in the case of the exchanges, and also for lots resumed outright. 137 lots were resumed; these were mainly agricultural, and the total payments approved for their resumption amounted to $58,377.17. 774 lots were resumed, of which 764 were in connection with the construction of the Fanling-Shataukok Road. $3,898.80 The total cost of these resumptions was $3,898.80. Particulars of the lots resumed in the New Territories will be found in the Land Officer's Report for 1924.
