234. 3 Chair Coolie Shelters.-A contract for the shelters, which are similar to the one on May Road, was let in December. The sites are:-(a.) In Garden Road, at its junction with Bowen Road; (b.) In Macdonnell Road, to the West of Calder Path; (c.) In Gleneally, at its junction with Albert Road, Work will be commenced early in the new year.

236. The following miscellaneous drawings and sketch plans were prepared during the year :-
Cheung Chau School.-Sketch plans were prepared for a proposed new school to take the place of the existing temporary one.
Quarters for Revenue Officers, Yaumati.-Two schemes were prepared showing a three-storey building with stores and Native Revenue Officers' quarters on the two lower floors, and a four-roomed European flat on the upper floor.
Proposed additional Cells at the Central Police Station.—A sketch scheme was prepared.
Garage in Murray Battery.-A plan showing a garage for seven cars, together with the layout of the remainder of the Murray Battery site, was prepared.
KOWLOON,
2 Rollers, including charges for assembling, &c.-Two motor rollers were purchased for use on the Outside City and New Territories roads.
