Dangerous Goods.

The number of samples of petroleum oil and liquid fuel examined in the laboratory has decreased from 146 in 1922 to 4 in 1923. This is the result of the new Dangerous Goods Regulations, by which it is not necessary to have samples of such cargoes examined before the same may be discharged. Considerable delays to tank steamers have thus been avoided.
