### RABIES
Dogs remain unmuzzled. During the year 30 dogs were placed under observation in Dogs' Quarantine Station, 15 were returned to owners, 14 died or were destroyed for reasons other than Rabies, 1 dog died of Rabies.
In addition 2 cases of Rabies were found during the year, 1 in a private kennel and the other an ownerless dog.
Gazette Notification No. 363 of August 25th, 1921, under Section 6, Dogs Ordinance 1893 gave additional powers for control of dogs in the Colony and prohibits the importation of dogs without a permit.
### RINDERPEST
Three outbreaks occurred during the year. In all 170 cases occurred of which 163 proved fatal. The disease was of an unusually virulent type. Spread was controlled by rigid isolation and disinfection. Serum inoculation was employed by two owners with distinctly beneficial results.
### PLEURO PNEUMONIA CONTAGIOSA
No fresh outbreak. The system of vaccination and isolation employed during the outbreak last year would appear to have stamped out the disease for the time being.
### ANTHRAX
Two cases--both ponies occurred during December.
### GLANDERS
An outbreak occurred in a large private stable. Three animals were found to be affected. All contacts were tested with "Mallein". No further cases have occurred.
### FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE
