Forwards report by the Acting Surgeon- General stating that there has been no systematic teaching of hygiene during 1906, but that it will receive attention as opportunity offers.

Acknowledges receipt of No. 71, and states that the slides indicated can be provided; adds that local photographe for preparing slides illustrative of the breeding grounds of germ mosquitoes, &c., will be required.

Transmits copies of Nos. 71 and 73, and requests that, if the Colony desires to avail itself of the offer of the London School, the negatives referred to may be forwarded with a statement of the number of slides required in each
