States that as there is no malaria in New Zealand it is not considered advisable to contribute to the fund.

Notifies selection of Major Horrocks to serve on a Commission of Enquiry into Mediterranean Fever, and re- quests that the Sanitary, Commis- sioners may be asked to grant him leave of absence on full pay during the time he is serving on the Com- mission.
