Now therefore, in pursuance and in the exercise of the power so vested in Us by the aforesaid Letters Patent and Statutes, and in order to enable Us to carry this Our Will and Pleasure into effect, We have Made, Ordained, and Established, and by these Presents, Sealed with the Seal of the said Order, do Make, Ordain, and Establish the following Statute and Ordinances, viz. :—

I. It is Ordained that all Persons upon whom We, respect of services Our Heirs and Successors, may think fit to confer the Honour of being admitted into the said MOST DISTINGUISHED ORDER, on account of services rendered in connection with the aforesaid Exhibition, shall be Additional Members of Our said Order, and shall not be included within the numbers of Ordinary Members prescribed for the several Classes.

This Statute to be part of the Statutes.

II. It is Ordained that the Additional Members of Our said Order shall have Rank and Place among the Ordinary Members of their respective Classes according to the dates of their respective Appointments, and that the Statutes of Our said Order shall in all matters and things apply in the same manner to the said Additional Members as to the Ordinary Members of Our said MOST DISTINGUISHED ORDER.

And it is Our Will and Pleasure that this Special Statute, Sealed with the Seal of the said Order, be

taken and received as Part and Parcel of the Statutes thereof.

Given at Our Court at Windsor under Our Sign Manual and the Seal of Our said Order, this Twenty- eighth day of June, in the Fiftieth Year of Our Reign, and in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-six.
