Expresses hope of his Government that units sent from New South Wales will be attached to similar artus of the Regular Forces.
Enquiries whether H.M. Government desire the Colonies to send more troops.
States that II.M. Government are willing to favourably entertain further offers ; preferencn would be given to mounted men, who must be good shots and bring their own horses.
December 16 Conveys terms of Nos. 5 and 6 for com- munication to Ministers in connection with their offer of a second contingent, which H.M. Government now gladly accept.
