Thirdly, what do you suggest as approximate number of medical officers for ship? should any of them be specialists, and, if so, in what? and how many should be surgeons and how many physicians? Fifthly, we propose to paint the ship white, and to despatch her with the least possible delay. My Government sincerely thank you for the complete information which you have given regarding care of sick and wounded. Would be glad if whole matter could be treated as confidential till I communicate with you further, which I will do as soon as possible. Could you possibly give me an answer to my firstly to-morrow, and to my other questions at your convenience?-LIVERPOOL.
