Quotes a cable from Dr. Heiser astating that the arrangements for the work in the East are completed and that the Government have nominated Dr. Hacker; and states that the Inter- national Health Commission have chosen as the other two members of the Commission Drs. 8. T. Darling and M. Barber.

Transmits copies of a report by Dr. E. 8. Marshall detailing the results of the investigation which be made in 1914 into the alleged prevalence of ankylostomiasis in Antigua; remarks upon the report; states that the plan of action and budget of the experi- mental campaign proposed by Dr. Marshall has been approved by the International Health Commission; and hopes that the scheme will be in full working order by the end of April.

States that the High Commissioner of the Malay States designated Dr. Hacker as the local member of the Uncinariasis Commission; that the International Health Commission approved the appointment; and that Dra. Darling and Barber have sailed from New York for Singapore via Liverpool; encloses memoranda on the qualifications of Drs. Washburn, Jacocks, and Covington.

Observes, in reply to No. 90, that the Commission is glad that Dr. Wash- burn should serve in the capacity most convenient to the Colonial Government; as the Trinidad budget has been modified it is not certain that it will provide for the position proposed for Dr. Covington; explains arrangements of the Commission as regards remuneration of its investi- gators.

Transmite a copy of No. 92; thinks an intensive campaign in the parish of St. Andrew would probably be pro- ductive of beneficial results; and in- quires whether the Commission could see their way to send an investigator to Barbados to report and advise as to the best means of initiating such a campaign.

Transmits a copy of No. 88; and sug gests that, if the Commission should see their way to extending their cam- paign in British Honduras, it might be possible for them to send a doctor of experience to decide where to begin operations; the Medical Department being shorthanded, no adequate inquiry would be practic able without the aid of the Commis- sion.
