Transmits copies of correspondence with the International Health Commission in which the Commission approve of a scheme submitted by Dr. Ferguson, Government Medical Officer of the Peter's Hall Medical District, and observes that $7,244.70 has been paid into the British Guiana Treasury and active operations have been com- menced.

States that the International Health 101 Commission has approved the budgets ¦ received in No. 36, and has sent a draft for a quarter of the year's ex- penditure to each Island; reports the steps taken to commence the work in Grenada; and states that he has agreed to Dr. Durrant taking charge of the work in St. Vincent. strator of St. Lucia reporting the acceptance by the International Health Commission of the budget for St. Lucia, and indicating the steps to be taken to inaugurate the campaign. Forwards copies of particulars regarding 107

the prevalence and distribution of ankylostomiasis in the Federated Malay States.
