States that the Committee propose to take no further action at present with regard to the hiring of slides.
Explains, with reference to the terms on which they were prepared to undertake the reproduction of series of wall-pictures from
Mr. Fisher's original drawings, in what respect the position has changed, and asks if they are prepared to re-open negotiations.

Agrees that he has had much unex- pected difficulty to contend with in writing the three lectures which he has undertaken, but states that it is very important that the general Australasian and the Pacific lectures should be ready as soon as possible.

States that the Committee are willing to permit the Council to reproduce a selected number of Mr. Fisher's paintings for use as wall pictures in return for payment of a royalty, and the right to supply other possible purchasers from the same source as the Council supply themselves.
Asks, with reference to No. 10, what amount of royalty the Committee would require in respect of each picture selected.

Understands they are prepared to under- take the sale of slides illustrating the lectures on the Sea Road to the East on the terms set out, and asks for the formal acceptance of the terms indicated.
Accepts terms set forth in No. 13
States that the Committee are not pre- pared to approve of any method of reproducing Mr. Fisher's drawings which would involve altering or adding to the originals; with this condition the Committee give permis- sion for the preparation of wall pictures from Mr. Fisher's drawings if the Council will purchase a complete set of the slides on India and on the Sea Road to the East, or pay £1 for each picture selected.
States that arrangements have already been made for an acknowledgment on the reward cards now in course of preparation that the reproduction of the pictures has been permitted by the Visual Instruction Committee.
States terms for a series of South:
African lectures to be completed by the end of 1912, in addition to the Australasian and Canadian lectures already arranged for.
Points out, in reply to No. 15, that it was not proposed that any alteration should be made in Mr. Fisher's sketches, but that as an experiment one picture should be reproduced on a larger scale, and the necessary further details inserted in the en- largement; asks if the Committee agree.
Accepts terms of No. 17 on condition that he is not held responsible for any delay in passing the draft by the critics.
