We are honoured with your commands, signified in Sir Frederic Rogers' letter of the 12th June instant, stating that he was directed by you to transmit to us for our consideration the enclosed extract from a draft Despatch to the Governor of Jamaica, based on our opinion dated 24th January* regarding the effect of the Act of Indemnity, and to request to be informed, if we approve of its being sent.
