States that a proof of the shorthand notes of the Arbitratlon, with cor- rections and notes, has been sent to the Solicitors of the Company for their consideration and approval; en- quires how many copies of the notes and appendices will be required.

Requests that 25 copies of the shorthand notes and appendices may be supplied.

Transmits account of Mesars. Deloitte and Company for £2,085 7. Md., balance due for investigation of the Dock Company's books, and recom- mends payment thereof.

Forwards copy of instructions sent to the Commander-in-Chief regarding the measures to be taken in con- nection with the storage of fuel at Bingapore, and states that any negotia- tions with the Dock Board will be conducted on an ordinary business footing; agrees to waive the proposal for the appointment of a Naval repre- sentative on the Dock Board.

Requests authority to employ Mesars. Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths, and Com- pany, in connection with the possible examination by the Court of Arbitra- tion of the balance sheet of the Com-

pany.
