Expresses opinion, in reply to No. 273, that the Admiralty should be treated like any ordinary customer and pay for such special facilities as it requires, and that the claim of the Admiralty to be represented on the Board is altogether indefensible.

Transmits copies of Nos. 282 and 286, and requests that the Governor's suggestion should be taken into con- sideration, and, if they conour, any necessary steps taken.

Explains arrangements made with the Dock Company for the construction on their property of a shed for the storage of fuel for the Admiralty, and requests views as to the payment of compensation to the Company in lieu of renting the shed.
