Transmits copy of a telegram from the Commander-in-Chief on the China station reporting the arrival of the crow of the "Burni" at Weihaiwei and proposing to send them to Hong Kong; states that this proposal hus been approved.

Transmits copy of a telegram from the Commander-in-Chief, China, report. ing the shipment of the crew of the "Burni" to Hong Kong, and request- ing instructions as to their internment at that place or elsewhere.

Transmits copy of telegram to Sir C. MacDonald notifying the internment of the crew at Weihaiwei and instruct- ing him to ascertain whether the Japanese Government would agree to their repatriation on the same terms as in the case of the "Varyag."

Transmits copy of a telegram from His Majesty's Minister at Tokió convey- ing the wish of the Japanese Govern- ment that the crew of the "Burni" should be interned until the end of the war; states that the Admiralt have been so informed.

Transmita copy of No. 4; enquires views of the Army Council as to place of internment.
