Further to our telephone conversation to-day, I enclose copy of a letter received from Ivor Thomas of the B.B.C. on the subject of a scheme for providing special programes for the Forces for one hour each evening from Radio Hongkong.
It is understood that the B. B. C. already supply this station with the output of their Transcription Service (including Forces Educational Transcriptions) and, provided copyright difficulties can be overcome, I hope we may be able to supply certain recorded programmes from Libraries of the Forces Broadcasting Service. You may possibly wish to pursue the question of obtaining scripts or other programme material from the B.B.C. for this scheme.
As agreed, I will keep you informed as to any
developments.
Yours
sinurly, Stack
