The COMMITTEE:-

(1) agreed that a paper should be written on the basis of

the notes tabled by the Commander-in-Chief, Far East Station, to serve as a brief for the Commissioner General for defence discussions during his visit to Hong Kong at the end of April;

(ii)

(iii)

agreed to meet to discuss this paper on 14 April 1949;

invited the Commissioner General to suggest to the Governor of Hong Kong, during his April visit, that a meeting of the Defence Co-ordination Committee should be arranged to take place in Hong Kong at a later date.
